Our KAT's (Kids are Terrific Savers) Certificates are unique because they only require a minimum deposit of $100.00 to open.  Children are able to open a 12 month certificate and recieve the same rates that are received for our standard certificates.  But children get the benefit of opening them with a lot less money.

We have designed this unique certificate so that children are able to reach the minimum deposit amount more quickly.  We realize that children need smaller goals to reach, in order to keep their attention.  We also realize that children need to learn the difference in a savings account versus investments, and the importance of investing early. 

To teach children more on the importance of savings and investments, they may go to our youth center and have fun while learning about money management!

To open a KAT's Certificate, you must have:

• $100.00
• proof of identification (social security card)
